I am using unflavoured raw whey protein from more than 2 years and I had not experienced any digestion related issues due to unflavoured raw whey protein. Here is difference between flavoured whey protein and unflavoured raw whey protein.
Flavoured whey protein – Flavoured whey protein usually comes is many flavours life chocolate, vanilla or butterscotch etc. Flavoured whey protein power contains whey protein + artificial flavour + digestive enzymes in it. Generally it taste better and little bit easy to digest and its price is expensive in comparison with unflavoured raw whey protein.
Unflavoured raw whey protein – It usually comes in large bulk packing or sometimes 1-2 kgs packing. Unflavoured raw whey protein is tasteless or smells like milk powder. Personally I had consumed a lot of raw whey protein but it never cause stomach upset or bloating in my case. Here are few tips you can consume unflavoured raw whey protein without stomach upset or bloating.
1. You can take digestive enzymes with raw whey for better digestion.
2. Consume salad and fibre rich food in your meals when you are taking unflavoured raw whey protein.
